The palate is smooth and creamy, with a nice balance of sweetness and spice. The flavors are similar to the nose, but with more depth and intensity. I taste vanilla, honey, caramel, raisins, figs, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, oak, and leather. The finish is long and warming, with a lingering sweetness and spice. The oak influence is noticeable but not overpowering.
