Round one of the Masters is in the books. Tiger finishing the day only 4 strokes back was great to see, but even better is fellow Canadian Corey Conners sitting only 3 behind the leader. The tournament has officially begun! 154 entries this year, which is always greatly appreciated. I guess everyone will be tied since we assume everyone has chosen Tiger to win it all 🙂

Matsuyama held off the pack today, despite a +1 final round. Corey Conners had a bit of a collapse near the end of the front 9 taking him out of the running. The results posted here are preliminary pending official prize money results from The Masters. Once the pool results are final we will post the information and the winners! Matsuyama put up a -7 to lead the pack at -11 after a brief rain delay. A definite highlight was Canadian Corey Conners knocking down the ace on the 6th hole. He’s sitting back 5 strokes of the lead after a strong showing today. Best of luck to everyone in the final round tomorrow!

Well, it wouldn’t be the Masters without some drama! Justin Rose followed up a stellar first round with an even par second. That left a lot of room for players to make up some ground, and make up some ground they did! 10 players had rounds of -4 or better to reduce the gap from 4 strokes to 1. Definitely will make for a great weekend if this keeps up.

Round 1 is in the books and Justin Rose has a commanding 4 stroke lead after a spectacular first round. Canadian Corey Conners has some work to do at +1. It’s the Masters though, so it’s anyone’s game to win or lose!

And… we’re off! 178 entrants in this edition which far surpasses our previous record of entrants. Good luck everyone!

Well, what can you say about that round from DJ! Even when he started to show some cracks early on and the rest of the field responded, he just kept up the onslaught of excellent shot choices and phenomenal putting. No one really had a chance. Thanks again to all who participated and look forward to doing this again early in 2021.
