Well, it has been a few years, but Expensive Taste KW has finally decided to do a bit of an upgrade! Our old website, while great for the club at the time, needed an update to keep up with the rest of the world. Now a more responsive website, we are more able to keep our community up to date on the latest samplings of the club, as well as posting more information about Whisky itself! Feel free to subscribe to our page and receive updates as we post them by signing up on the left. You will need to be approved by an administrator, so be patient while we process any requests.
Yellow golden, Spicy, orange blossom, honey-tinged sweetness with vanilla and dried oak. Mango and melon notes with a wisp of smoke, Soft vanilla and sweet barley with a hint of grape, Muscovado sweetness balanced by wisps of Orcadian peat smoke
Medium amber colour; aromas of heather, butterscotch, mild pear and honey; spicy palate with a touch of baked orange/tangerine; long, spicy caramel finish.
Fresh green apples and lemons mingle with cinnamon. Ginger notes hover as fruit takes over, with subtle oak lingering in the wings. Light to medium with soft fruits and cereal, slightly dry.
