Glen Moray 25 Port Cask Finish
A rare bottle from 1988 from the dusty shelf of our very own Lee Snetsinger. Great presentation! Sweetness from the port finish is apparent, along with vanilla and oak notes. A great opportunity to taste a unique Speysider.

Masters 2021 – Round 4 Update
Matsuyama held off the pack today, despite a +1 final round. Corey Conners had a bit of a collapse near the end of the front 9 taking him out of the running. The results posted here are preliminary pending official prize money results from The Masters. Once the pool results are final we will post the information and the winners! Thanks again to everyone for your participation. We invite you to check out the homepage for information on our upcoming Rich More’s memorial tournament in July.
Masters 2021 – Round 3
Matsuyama put up a -7 to lead the pack at -11 after a brief rain delay. A definite highlight was Canadian Corey Conners knocking down the ace on the 6th hole. He’s sitting back 5 strokes of the lead after a strong showing today. Best of luck to everyone in the final round tomorrow!
Masters 2021 – Round 2 Update
Well, it wouldn’t be the Masters without some drama! Justin Rose followed up a stellar first round with an even par second. That left a lot of room for players to make up some ground, and make up some ground they did! 10 players had rounds of -4 or better to reduce the gap from 4 strokes to 1. Definitely will make for a great weekend if this keeps up.
Masters 2021 – Round 1 Update
Round 1 is in the books and Justin Rose has a commanding 4 stroke lead after a spectacular first round. Canadian Corey Conners has some work to do at +1. It’s the Masters though, so it’s anyone’s game to win or lose!
Masters 2021 Entrants
And… we’re off! 178 entrants in this edition which far surpasses our previous record of entrants. Good luck everyone!
Tamdhu Single Cask – European Oak Sherry 14 Year
A double-header March Speyside tasting rounded out with another novel distillery to the Club. Tamdhu Single Cask, distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2018, was another great example of a little-known distillery that can pack a punch. This bottle is 1 of only 317. Adding a little water to this dram did change it significantly – thanks to “Ben” for that “magical” post-it note tip, and Club member Lee for sacrificing this one to the cause! A lovely taster with lots of dried fruit, raisins, apricots, jam and of course, toasty sherry.
Auchroisk 2007 – Signatory Vintage
Another first-timer for Club Expensive Taste. An interesting sampler with a lovely bright straw (natural) colour. Light and fruity, grape-forward, certain vanilla, with a hit of spice on the end. A delicate and appealing combination. 43%, hogshead maturation and a very appealing price point at only $100 with shipping from out-of-country. Glad we broadened the horizons with this little rarity.
