Another great expression from Signatory Vintage, and another new distillery to this club! Great to experience an affordable 25 year-old at a reasonable price point in the $300 range. Sourced from Alberta.
A smooth, well loved dram on a lovely summer night. You won’t be seeing 25 year old Tulli for a while, as the distillery was not operating from 1995-2003. This bottle was purchased in 2020! Perhaps there is still some around?
Yet another closed distillery! We tried 2 rarities both distilled in 2007, but aged 1 year apart in different cask styles. The 12 was matured in Wine & Sherry Casks.
A great dram from an independent bottler – wish we saw more Ben Nevis around Ontario, a friendly place located at the foot of mount Ben Nevis in Fort William, Scotland, but owned by Japanese whisky, Nikka.
Another exciting double header from a new distillery for the club, one of the most remote in Scotland! Only producing whisky since 2014, it was a treat to experience Ardnamurchan with so little of its offerings ready/available. We tried both the peated and unpeated versions. Looking forward to what’s to come from this young distillery!
